About Kimmy
Kimmy holds dual qualifications, having been called to the bar in Hong Kong and having previously practised as a Barrister and Solicitor in Ontario, Canada.
Upon completing her law degree in Hong Kong, she took a detour into finance, beginning her graduate career as an analyst within the equity derivatives team at an investment bank. She then returned to law and pursued her LLM in Canada where she was later called to the Ontario bar, before ultimately returning to Hong Kong, to come full circle in her legal journey.
Kimmy is developing a broad civil and criminal practice, and accepts instructions across all areas of work. She previously built a criminal defense practice in Canada, where she represented clients facing varied criminal charges. Her experience included bail hearings, plea bargaining, mitigation advocacy, and trials, with a strong focus on Charter Rights motions.
Outside of her legal practice, she is an avid ballet dancer, with experience in Latin dance including rumba and cha-cha. She also plays the piano and guzheng.
